Carrick, PA – Three People Injured in Rollover Accident on Brownsville Rd
Carrick, PA (July 6, 2022) – On Tuesday night, July 5, three people were injured in a car accident that took place in Carrick.
According to Allegheny County officials, the accident happened around 9:19 p.m. at 1100 Brownsville Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area, identified as a gold sedan and a red sedan. The two vehicles collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known, causing the red vehicle to overturn. The vehicles sustained severe damage and debris was left scattered all over the road in the area.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Three people, who have not yet been formally identified, were injured as a result of the crash. One of the victims sustained critical injuries in the accident. The parties were hospitalized but their current conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, a portion of the road was blocked in the area for a period of time.
