Carlisle, PA – Two Injured in Plane Crash at Carlisle Airport

Carlisle, PA (October 19, 2020) – Around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, two people were injured in a plane crash that took place in Carlisle.

Police confirmed that a plane was attempting to land at the Carlisle Airport and crashed in the area. The plane allegedly missed the runway and landed on its nose in an area next to the runway.

A man was nearby and ran over to help and found two people in the plane, both of whom were seriously injured. The parties have not yet been identified.

Due to the severity of the involved injuries, both of the victims were airlifted to Hershey Hospital by medical helicopter.

The Federal Aviation Administration was notified about the crash and continues its investigation.
