Bristol Twp, PA – Pedestrian Accident Involving Motorcyclist on Rte 13

Bristol Township, PA (June 4, 2022) – Around 10:35 p.m. on Friday night, June 3, a pedestrian accident involving a motorcyclist took place in Bristol Township.

According to Bristol Township Police, the accident happened on Route 13 in the area of the local Motel 6. A 40-year-old Bensalem man was riding his motorcycle in the area when he suddenly collided with a pedestrian due to reasons that are not yet known. Police confirmed that the driver of the motorcyclist was driving south at the time and did not see the pedestrian until it was too late.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders, including Bristol Township Fire, were dispatched to the scene. The 40-year-old motorcyclist sustained injuries and was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for treatment. The pedestrian, who has not yet been formally identified, was also rushed to the same hospital for treatment. Their condition is not known at this time.

The roadway was blocked for several hours following the collision. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
