Somerset County Man Dies and SUV Driver Injured in Crash on Stepping Stone Road
Somerset, Pennsylvania (August 31, 2017) – A man was killed on Tuesday morning after a motorcycle crashed head-on with a sport-utility vehicle in Somerset County, according to state police.
The deadly accident occurred at about 11:34 a.m. August 29, on Stepping Stone Road in Somerset.
The man identified by State Police as Brent Heitzer aged 36 was riding his motorcycle and crossed the center line and collided head-on with a sport-utility car.
Heitzer was pronounced dead at the crash site. The SUV driver sustained minor injuries according to police.
It is not known if the driver was hospitalized.
Police were still investigating the incident to determine its cause and liability.
