Boyertown, PA (September 12, 2021) – At 6 p.m. on Friday evening, September 10, a fatal truck accident occurred at an intersection in Boyertown.
According to Upper Uwchlan Township Police, the accident happened at the intersection of PA-100 and Pennsylvania Boulevard. A sedan, a pickup truck, and a tractor-trailer entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. The accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the tractor-trailer was pronounced dead at the scene due to the crash. Two people were seriously injured and rushed to local hospitals by ambulance.
Due to the severity of the accident, the intersection was blocked in the area until approximately 4 a.m. on Saturday morning.
