Blair County, PA (September 10, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Saturday in Blair County claimed one person’s life. The accident occurred on September 9.
According to reports provided by the Pennsylvania State Police, 69-year-old Judith Pleskonko was driving her Nissan Juke on Interstate 99. She was in an accident on the southbound side of the roadway, which prompted her to move her vehicle through the emergency crossover.
As she exited her vehicle and attempted to walk over to the crash site, she was struck by a northbound vehicle.
Pleskonko was fatally injured due to the crash and pronounced deceased at the scene by the Blair County coroner.
At this time, the accident is being investigated.
