Biglerville, PA (March 18, 2019) – Police responded to a fatal motorcycle accident that led to the fatality of one person on Friday afternoon.
The accident took place before 4:30 p.m. when a motorcycle and a van collided with one another. At the time, police say that 62-year-old Jeffrey Thompson had been riding his motorcycle north on Pine Grove Road, around the area of Shippensburg Road.
All of a sudden, Thompson was struck by a minivan driven by 19-year-old Kortnie Keefer. Thompson was immediately thrown off of his motorcycle.
Officers say that, despite the fact that he was wearing a helmet, he tragically passed away at the scene of the crash. Nobody else was injured in the crash.
