Bensalem Twp, PA – Tractor-Trailer Collision Leads to Injuries on Rte 95

Bensalem Township, PA (October 24, 2022) – Around 1:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, October 22, a tractor-trailer crash with serious injuries occurred in Bensalem Township.

Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that the accident happened in the early morning hours in the southbound lanes of Route 95 around the area of Woodhaven Road. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it became involved in a serious collision with a passenger vehicle, causing the truck to roll over onto its side.

Fire crews and several other responders arrived at the scene to help. As fire crews were assisting those involved in the accident, their firetruck was struck in the rear by another vehicle. All of the involved vehicles sustained heavy damages in the collision.

Several parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The victims were treated at the scene by Bensalem EMS, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, a portion of the roadway was blocked in the area for some time.
