Beaver County, PA (February 3, 2019) – Accidents involving trains are known for being some of the most catastrophic, with victims who typically end up with serious injuries and even fatal results.
Around 5:30 p.m. last evening in Rochester, Beaver County, two people were killed in a fatal accident that took place near the Rochester Riverfront Park.
Emergency dispatchers said that a vehicle had been on the train tracks in the area and went down a hillside near Water Street after being struck. There were two people in the vehicle at the time. By the time emergency responders showed up at the scene, they were tragically pronounced dead.
The coroner was called to the scene of the accident. Police are working on identifying the two parties.
