Barnesville, PA – Daniel Whitenight Injured in Car Crash on Barnesville Dr

Barnesville, PA (February 27, 2021) – Around 12:22 a.m. on Friday morning, February 26, a serious car crash involving injuries occurred in Barnesville.

According to authorities, the accident took place on Barnesville Drive. Police confirmed that 30-year-old Thomas Kehl was traveling east and lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve. The vehicle entered another lane of traffic when it struck a vehicle head-on. The accident led to extensive damages to both vehicles.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. Kehl was extricated from his vehicle and taken to the hospital by medical helicopter. The driver of the other vehicle, identified as 57-year-old Daniel Whitenight, was also injured and hospitalized with leg injuries.

Kehl has since been charged with careless driving for his role in the accident.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
