Allentown, PA (February 11, 2021) – Around 4:39 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, February 11, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Allentown.

According to officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of US-22 around the area of Cedar Crest Boulevard and Mauch Chunk Road. Few details have been released but police confirmed that the crash happened when multiple vehicles collided with each other in the area. This led to extensive damages.

Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes for an extended period of time.
