Allentown, PA – Man Killed in Fatal Car Crash on S 24th St
Allentown, PA (April 13, 2022) – A man was killed in a fatal car accident that took place on a roadway in Allentown on Tuesday morning, April 12.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 11:30 a.m. at 1200 South 24th Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A 65-year-old male from Allentown was seriously injured in the crash. He was rushed to a local hospital but was tragically pronounced dead while there.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
