Adamsburg, PA (June 9, 2021) – On Wednesday afternoon, June 9, a serious car crash ended with a baby being ejected from a vehicle in Adamsburg.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened at 400 Edna Road. Two or more vehicles collided with each other in the area. An 8-month-old baby was inside one of the vehicles. The child was ejected out of a rear window.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The baby was critically injured and rushed to UPMC Children’s Hospital for treatment of their injuries. One of the drivers of one of the involved vehicles was injured as well.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
