Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their loved ones. We hope for their complete recovery.
Driver carelessness and negligence behind the wheel are our state's top causes of auto accidents. Of course, car accidents occur for various reasons, and occasionally they result from random chance. Moreover, regardless of the cause of your wreck, you could end up with serious, painful injuries in any accident.
For instance, when drivers do not yield to pedestrians who are passing in the area nearby, they can strike them and cause severe or fatal injuries. Furthermore, a lot of people fail to stop at intersections, resulting in severe accidents that result in devastating injuries for those involved.
Even worse, it is common for drivers to cause major injuries that have devastating consequences for others if they ignore roadway hazards or otherwise fail to pay attention to their surroundings, leaving victims to cope with the traumatic aftermath. Over the last few decades, driver distraction has become one of the leading causes of crashes. Unfortunately, all too many people text, talk to others, or even eat while behind the wheel.
