1 Injured in Elmwood 2-Vehicle Crash
Southwest Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (August 30, 2017) – One person was injured after a police SUV and a civilian vehicle collided in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday evening.
The collision was reported at about 8:30 p.m. August 29, in the 6500 block of Elmwood Avenue.
Police reports indicate that a District officer was northbound on 65th street when he collided with a vehicle which was traveling westbound on Elmwood Avenue.
The civilian sustained minor non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital in the area.
The officer, however, was not injured in the crash.
The police are investigating the collision.
