Muddy-Creek Township, Pennsylvania (October 1, 2017) – A motorist was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in Muddy Creek, Butler County, on Wednesday afternoon.

As per a statement by the State Police, the accident occurred on Route 422, near Route 19 interchange, in Muddy Creek Township on September 27 involving a Pontiac sedan and a New Castle School of Trades tractor-trailer.

The events leading to the collision were unclear at the time of reporting, but the police confirmed that the driver of the sedan was injured in the collision.

However, the student-driver of the truck and an instructor were not hurt in the accident.

An investigation into the crash was still underway.
